MAGMA 6 Slot Chassis
 

I can't see that the Magma 6 slot PCI expansion chassis is listed as approved by Digi. But has anyone had any success with it, heard of any problems with any chassis that Digi has not approved yet.
They have approved 7, 13, 4 & 2. Surely the 6 slot will be OK.
Why....cause Magma have got one on special for half price....Refurbished they call it. Magma assures me it will work with Pro Tools, if not send it back. Great I live in Australia.

Can anyone help here, please. I have actually ordered this chassis believing the sales rep from Magma, that it will work with PT. His comment is that it works like the 7 slot.

I have used the 6 slot for 6 months or so now without problem. Both with a TiBook and a G4/450. Mix3 and 2 x SCII's. Magma says the same drivers and essential hardware as the 7 slot. I liked for the 4 drive bays. I also mounted an AIT drive in it.
