CD Writer Setup Option Greyed Out
 

Sorry for such a simple question, but I could not find the answer in the manual.

If the CD Writer Setup Option is Greyed Out does that mean that MLCD does not support my drive? I can access it from the OS, but I can't tell if MLCD sees it because I can't get into the screen.

Stats: G4/450/OS9, MLCD 2.2, Phillips CDD521 upgraded (toast sees it as a CDD522)

Yes, if the CD writer setup is greyed out MLCD is not able to see the burner. I haven't checked the most recent MLCD compatibility list to see if that burner is on it or not.

If it is not on the list then MLCD will definitely not see it. MLCD contains specific code for each burner it supports.

If it is on the list it could be a SCSI conflict, etc.
