Upgrade Plan Query...
 
Hey all,

My upgrade plan is due to expire at the end of the week, so I paid for the upgrade yesterday and have an email from AVID confirming this (also my card has been correctly billed)

However, Update Manager (which is a piece of junk and I've since deleted) was showing that I still needed to update this morning, so I've just checked that all is ok (as I obviously don't want my subscription to accidentally expire)

My AVID account is showing that my subscription is active until September 2017, however my iLok is still showing that it's about to expire... I obviously entered my iLok account name in the update process, so I think I've done all that is necessary on that front... I've also checked in iLok manager but there's nothing new there...

Is this usual..? Will it just auto update as the old licence expires, or is there something a bit odd going on here?

I just don't want to be left not being able to work at the end of the week!

I have the same "problem" and asked AVID support about it. I got this reply:

Please be informed that in the ilok account you can only see the Standard Support which it wasn't renewed . The Annual Upgrade Plan which you have renewed can only be seen in the Avid Account and that date has been changed .

I was still seeing odd behaviour on the iLok.... But perhaps AVID have just been preparing for this: http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=384533

Having dealt with this new authorisation all looks correct on the iLok.
