Anybody have Expressbox7 or Digidesign PCIe-PCIe chassis?

Hi there,

We've got the new Digidesign PCIe-PCIe expansion chassis (EB7) and have followed all the installation guides from both Digi and Magma. It all looked like it was working fine but now Waves and Massey plugins are causing the system to crash and behave oddly. It's also much slower in general operation.

It's attached to a Mac Pro 2xDual core 3Ghz Xeon with 5GB RAM. HD4. OSX 10.5.4 clean install with PT7.4.2cs1.

Is it worth trying Tiger again? I know Digi say it isn't supported but Magma reckon it is.

Any thoughts appreciated

Hi.

I have new Digidesign PCIe-PCIe expansion chassis.
OS is 10.55. It is PT7.4.2cs1.
Mercury and Massey of Waves6.05 are owned.
It is comfortable without trouble.
I am installing OS in HD of RAID.
All Plug-In that can be thought is normal.

Ah,

Is 10.5.5 stable then? Didn't think it was qualified. Might try that in the morning.

Thanks :-)

Sorted. Dodgy chassis. Got a second one from dealer and all is good. Still did 10.5.5 update just incase.

:-)
