Yo! get a 400 G4. They kick ass and there cheap. If your rich get a 500 DP, but a 400 will do the job. You just have to get another IDE hard drive that mounts right above the one that comes with it and some more RAM. I have 512 which is a little silly. 256 is problaby good enough. Put in Digi 001 and PTLE and you'll be ripp'n sh*t up!

G4 500 (single processor)
256 mb ram
27 gig HD (5 partitions- 1 main and 4 audio)
DVD Ram
QPS Que! USB CDRW Drive
Digi 001
Apogee Rosetta (an absolute must have in my opinion - the absolutely best piece of studio gear I own!)

System is working great. No crashes with PT. Overall sound is as good (or better) as anything I hear on commercial CD.
