Recording MIDI from an Atari ST to Pro Tools 003R with PT 10 and CPTK
 

Hi: Running the last available version of Pro Tools 10 with an 003R as my interface. I have an old Atari 1040ST using Hybrid Arts SMPTE Track sequencing software. I want to record the MIDI tracks from the Atari into ProTools.
1) I connected Midi Out of Atari to Midi In of 003R
2) I connected Midi In of Atari to Midi Our of 003R
3) In Midi Studio Setup, I added the Atari as an instrument and designated the Midi In and Out ports as 003R
4) I created a Midi track and set Input and Outputs to Atari ST instrument and set to Midi Channel 2

When I play the Atari Sequence, there is no data coming into ProTools (as the Midi track meter doesn't show any activity). I have tested this using a Korg M1 and the Midi inputs and outputs on the 003R are definitely working fine.
