help a friend
 
i need a Lil help learning a few thing about recording. I have been recording and mixing songs now for about a year and i am pretty good but i have a few question about compressing vocals and eq'ing vocals and i also have a few questions about hardware. so if any one want to be a good friend and help me out i would real appreciate it. Back to the question(s)....sort of....
EQ and compression is done by taste. Telling you how to set either of those without hearing the unprocessed track is like telling you to color by numbers(IOW, it would be a total shot in the dark). As for the hardware questions, ask them in this post and you'll get plenty of answers or opinions:D
