Lost Authorization code
 

hi guys,
can anyone help me on what to do. my system crushed and I want to reinstall protools 8 with Mbox pro2 on another computer but I cant find have the Authorization code. what can I do?

I have the same issue.....same pro tools 8le disk and mbox 2 mini i used for when i ran PT on my old i-mac(with no problems). But now when i try to run the program on my macbook pro it keeps asking me for this authorization code....total ache of the balls

When you first installed PT8, you had to register it to get the authorization code. So if you log into your MyAvid account, it will be sitting there waiting. Once you retrieve it, why not write it down in 3 places. Once on a card or Postit to keep with the disk, once in the getting started guide and once more in a text file on your computer(along with every other code you might ever need, even though you were sure at the time you wouldn't):D
