Anyone heard of "PLUGSOUND" for ProTools?

Hi All,

I've been reading about a fairly new product called "Plugsound" on that company's own web site.( www.plugsound.com ) It is a Plug-in sound module or sound source for ProTools systems, with various categories like Drums, guitar, hiphop, strings etc. It works with OMS and comes with 650MB of sample data at your fingertips within the ProTools RTAS environment. It was apparently introduced at the last NAMM show.

My delima is this, It's been available for a few months now but I can't find a review or user comments about it ANYWHERE on the internet. It sounds too good to be true, but I'm a little skeptical not being able to find any comments or reviews about it anywhere.

Anyone heard of this and does anyone have any experience with it good or bad???

Thanks
D. Duncan

Why not just download the demo that is available at their site?

I've got the Hip Hop one. It's great. Same engine as Spectrasonics Stylus. It's just another sound library, but it's the RTAS access that makes it so quick and useable. I think these tools are the future. Definately try the demo if you're not sure.

Hey there, I downloaded the DEMO but I cannot get it to show up in my RTAS plugin pop up menu in ProTools! Not sure what the problem is...I used the installer and even manually placed the 2 files where there were suppose to go, I tried several things but the plugin still doesn't show up. What could be the problem? Did you have any problems?

Also......The www.plugsound.com web site is like DEAD! not there anymore. I thought the company went out of business or something. Any ideas???
