Alesis Q25 No Response Via USB
 

Hey all. I have an Alesis Q25 that is recognized by Windows and shows up in all the Pro Tools setup menus, but I can't get a MIDI signal from it. If I plug a MIDI cable from it into my M-Audio MIDI interface, it works fine, so the keyboard is functioning. But that creates a cabling headache and defeats the convenience of single cable operation. What might I be overlooking?

Thanks, I'll definitely review. I'm a longtime user of Logic for MIDI-based projects, so I'm clueless about the Pro Tools implementation.

alesis does not reply to support
no midi over usb. just stopped working one day.

I did eventually get mine to work, but it's been so long I can't remember what I had to do. Odds are it was something stupid I was doing. :o
