will steinberg interfaces run PT?

eg UR22 or UR44.
My mini mbox 2 has crackly/garbled sound i try to run cubase on it
(using the native driver) so if Steinberg's gear runs PT 10 or 11 that would be very useful. Is it true that PT 9 and later will run on anything?

OR alternatively will an Mbox 3 run Cubase 7.5?
i don't really want 2 boxes for 2 bits of software but its hard to find out
which box runs both.

Ofcourse it would be good if PT had some of Cubase's musical features like a chord track then i wouldn't have to bother with Cubase but that's life :(

Can you post your full system specs?

Yes, the Steinberg devices should work fine in the full versions of Pro Tools 9 and up (not PT 9 M-Powered though).

The Mbox 3 should also work with any DAW software.

Yes, Pro Tools 9 or later is compatible with most 3rd party interfaces.

And it is even (not always recommended) possible to run PT on just the built in sound card of a PC or MAC.

Mbox 3 should be compatible with Cubase (but I have not checked the specs).

* You might try another USB cable on the Mbox.

* Maybe try updating the driver, or downloading a newer or older driver for the Mbox.

* You should able to adjust interface settings in Cubase. In Pro Tools you can raise/lower the buffer settings to improve interface performance.

* If no luck, you might try the Mbox 3 with Reaper.

call me a conspiracy theorist but it looks to me like steinberg have deliberately fixed cubase not to work with mini mbox 2(MM2).
the evidence?
1 cubase works fine with 2 other interfaces i have , a ten yr old terratec sound card and a zoom g3x fx pedal, neither of which make software which competes with cubase.
2 if go to the pool in cubase i can hear the audio with no glitches and also if i open an an audio clip the scrub tool works. but when i playback audio in the arranger i get sound problems - why there and not everywhere in the programme?
3 reason, ableton, mixcraft, audacity all have no problems with my MM2 so why should cubase?
4 even if i choose a generic asio driver i still get audio problems although not as bad.
