Mac Os 10.6.3 just released
How long ( ballpark) does usually take for PT LE to be compatible with the newest version of Mac OS ?
Apple has just released a brand new 10.6.3. Chris7514 |

8.0.3cs2 released two days after. No word specifically on it's compatibility with 10.6.3, but both the new PT and OSX update include fixes for USB devices. This could be the saving grace that iMac users have been looking for. |
Re: Mac Os 10.6.3 just released
I've been running 10.6.3 on a separate drive with 8.03cs1 since it's release and all day with 8.03cs2.
No problems for my setup. I still have 10.6.2/8.01cs1 on my main drive, but I will run with the new os/cs for the next week to see how things pan out. No red flags so far. |
Re: Mac Os 10.6.3 just released
The CS2 release doesn't specifically address the Mac i5/i7 problems with the Mbox apparently and the support for OSX 10.6.3 will be included in the next release. That's the news I have.
I'm relaying that from support - although still not official statement anywhere, but then why would they say: "Hey our gear doesn't work with the Imacs!" Wonder how long another update will arrive...:( Chris |
