Missing stock plugins
I've noticed that some stock plugins are suddenly missing from the menu. At the very least this includes Trim and the the Tuner plugin (I can't remember the name exactly) that you can use to tune an instrument (not autotune, but an actual tuner).
I can actually see Trim.aaxplugin file sitting under /Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins but it's not actually listed in Protools for some reason. Also, I have an existing instance of Trim in a couple of tracks. They are working, and I can make copies of them. It's like PT just lost the link to them. To troubleshoot, I tried closing the program, deleting InstalledAAXPlugins, and using the PT Prefs tool to wipe out basically all prefs, cache, databases, etc. I also rebooted. How can I get the stock plug-ins back into Pro Tools? |
Re: Missing stock plugins
Well, I found Trim under the Multi-Mono plugins. Is it supposed to also be under multichannel plugins?
I still haven't found the stock tuner. Though it looks like I have a tuner via Waves GTR which might work for now. I'd still like to figure out where my stock plugins are. |
