Dell desktop suggestions

Hi DUC users. I need help picking a Dell desktop that can work with my Digi 002 rack using PT 8. I know not the best recommended but the reason is that I can afford only those since I have a credit card with them and I need a desktop asap. I checked the Dell desktop that were recommended on this website but tey seem to be outdated do I was wondering if there's any good Dell desktop top notch that can work with my Digi 002. I recntly talked to one Dell rep I told them what it was for and what I needed and he recommended this one:

1) The inspiron 546 mt
2) Studio mini tower

will those work? If u have any other Dell suggestion, please share it with me :)

Thanks in advance

I Appreciate the honesty Shea, so what kind of desktop would be a good or and affortable? I would prefer an already built one, if not then what are my options? No necessarly looking for a pc with a monitor, keyboard, speaker, etc. I am more interested on the box. If my best option is to build one, what are the parts any would recommend I can buy?

If money is a big part of the equation, Yes build your own. Cheap, off the shelf computers have been a nightmare. The link provided above will show you a few good builds based on the older core2 CPU. If you want to go further check out the i7 rigs that are now doing very well for a modest price increase.
