How often does S3 crash for you?

I am excited to finally get an S3 and I am currently working on getting it to work in my workflow. It is really fun to work with, but I have to say that I am a little disappointed with how often it crashes on me.

I am on Mac OS 10.12.6, Pro Tools 2018.7 Ultimate, Eucon 18.3.0.244, Firmware 1.2.131

Today (all day) it crashed on me 5-6 times doing various tasks. It seems to especially crash when I am trying to do some kind of group function. Very general stuff seems to be pretty solid. Luckily, it is pretty easy to restart and keep going, but I'm curious if you are all seeing crashes pretty often, or if it is just me.

I do try to push the limit of things. For example, I'm trying to do things like make all sends in a project inactive, etc when I seem to get the most crashes.

Please write up exactly what you do, what the session includes etc and we can investigate and fix.

I must have had terrible luck the first day with the S3. Since the first day, I have had very few. Maybe 1-2 total crashes from Eucon since.

I'm LOVING the S3. Total game changer for me. VCA Spill and Layouts is incredible with this thing.

Re: How often does S3 crash for you?

I used to get the occasional crash with Eucon (S3, Dock). Mainly when quitting out of ProTools or LogicProX. I've been running OSX 10.14 for a few weeks now and haven't seen Eucon crash once.

I do NOT condone running unsupported OS's and it is risky!! (Note: I have a fallback option).
