NUGEN HALO upmix crashes PT 10 HD
 

Hi there,

I downloaded the HALO upmix plugin demo to try with my PT 10 HD on OS X 10.8.5. But sadly PT crashes when I try to insert the plugin on a track. The same happens with the Audio Suite variant.

I tried both flavors AAX and RTAS without success. I also tried with both the TDM and the CoreAudio engine. Even the AU version crashes another DAW (Harrison Mixbus) on the same system. So it seams not to be a PT issue.

The point is that NUGEN can not reproduce the issue.
Is someone able to use the plugin successfully on the same system constellation: PT 10 HD on 10.8.5?

This problem has been solved.

With the help of Nugen support and a lot of testing we discovered that the crashes were caused by a case sensitive system drive!

Workaround:

1. Open Terminal (Applications/Utilities/Terminal)
2. Type "cd ~/Library" (without the quotation marks)
3. Press Enter
4. Type "mkdir preferences" (again without the quotation marks)
