Alternative to Antares?

I've been on a tear lately. So last 8-12months, I've kinda been out of loop with the latest greatest of everything. I know my Autotune is getting long in the tooth (I don't even have their latest). Is there anything else new out there thats great to slap on a bunch of bvox tracks at mix time.

I use Melodyne and all that. I'm talking, quick and dirty, keep it in E major, drop it on the 10 choir Vox tracks type of thing. Like I'd use Autotune for.

Is there any other AAX plugin that does that? I know Logic and Reaper and etc have it built in. There's no Avid tune plugin. And Waves' one, well, I've had it but its a version 9 maybe and unreliable as hell.

I guess you are referring to Waves Tune rather than the newer real time plugin?

If you're looking for a quick 'set the key and mode' tune up then the later is well worth checking out.

The old Waves Tune was a pain to use and sounded too much like AutoTune.

I use Autotune EFX+ for what you describe. New really great fast easy to use and great sounding Autotune version.

You have quite a few effects added that works really well and I was skeptic but changed my mind within first 2 minutes :-)

Thanks for all this. Didn’t even realize waves had a real time
One. I’ll look at the Antares stuff too.

revoice pro.

Best auto doubler plugin in the world.

Also has deep pitch editing and even a pitch match feature (ie match vocals to the key of a melody, suddenly vocal samples are much quicker to to work with for us folks who can't sing) amongst many other things.

Best thing I bought. Unlike melodyne it has instant offline transfer to and from in PT, however does also fully support ARA 2 if Avid ever decide to add it, so it can be part of the DAW and fully integrated.

it's expensive, REALLY expensive, so what I did was wait for their 3 or 4 times a year sale of 30%, and bought the instalment plan which also gets 30 percent off. You pay one price for a 3 month license, on the 4th payment you own the software 100% with a legit full license. I managed to get it all done in just over a year and was only without a licenses for it for around a month.. The key is to pay for the first instalment on the very last day of the coming Easter sale for example, and take it from there.

Or if you do this for a living and have money, just splurge! :D

Another vote for EFX+. Works pretty darn well for what it is. Bought the original version for a Reggaeton artist and I've been using it ever since. The new update is pretty sweet.

I switch between AutoTune Pro and Waves Tune Real-Time.
Both work ok if the vocals already are pretty in tune. But they both get that wobbly effect when pushed hard wich I don't like.
