Avid is in the competing market with one of their product lines

It’s not a surprise to me that they would make it as difficult as possible for Avid to keep up

Imagine how jacked up it will be when Apple starts making their own CPU’s

They already do, but only use it in iOS devices for now. Technology has been there since PPC to Intel transition (Universal Binaries) but apparently for now Intel's offerings are good enough for Apple to keep status quo
