S3Lx fader problem
 

Hi I m getting a message that fader are not working
On an S3 was happening on fader 11 then on fader 10 and 15
I did firmware upgrade but problem persist
How is the procedure to send to avid to fix? I never did it
Do i need to buy an asc and give a call first?
Or there is a phone number to call?

Maybe its an obvious question but did you check the fader´s connector?

no i didn t have you have open it is it easy to check? is it one flat per fader?

I don't think you develop a problem with the connector, if you are running the latest Venue OS and you get fader problems then most likely you have a problem with these faders and they need replacement. You can always contact Venue support to find out your repair options

I sent it back to Avid to fix.
Just a question how it works do they swap the desk or fix that one as i had a pro forma price for the repair and was quite expensive

It all depends on the problem, sometimes it's just replacing one bad part, sometimes it's replacing the whole thing.
