Eleven Rack (Only) Tunes & Tones...............
 

Hey all..............

I thought it might be nice to start a thread of "Only 11-Rack" tones..........

There are some great clips that keep getting lost in the forum as new threads come up..............

These tones can (& should) still be added to the "Amp Wars" thead as well............

This way people who want to hear only the great 11-R clips have a quick place to go to & check them out............

Please re-post your links on this page to show off your clips & tones of (only) 11-Rack...........I don't think it matter if your using Pro-Tools or other drum & loop plug-ins as long as ALL the guitar tones are coming from the 11R...........

No REAL tube Amps or other modelers in this thread so we keep interest in the new 11-Rack processor going.........

For the Bass I used Bombfactory compressor with EQ with the digital input... no amp sim.

EZ Drummer was used for the beats.

Soldano Crunch Model Tone..........
 

Hey all,

I just love ALL the Soldano Models in the 11R so much...........There are some great tones in the Crunch model as well.............

Here's a quick clip of the SLO-100 Crunch (NOT DRIVE) Amp w/ the Classic 30 speaker cab & the Ribbon mic on-axis..........There is NO tube screamer or dist pedal at all on this clip..........There is a very small amount of Reverb / Early Reflection-1 on the opening chords.............

The chorus / B-Section is the same amp model w/ a little more gain & I changed the mic to the 57 & it's off-axis this time (i don't usually do that)......Again no dist pedal & the Reveb did change to the Garage setting I believe............

I did set the tone (s) up a little different this time as well.........They were made w/ no effects on at all & tweaked for allot longer while I tried different cab's & mic's............I'm not sure if I got a better tone this way in the end, but I still like the tone allot.............Enjoy.......

All 3-Soldano channels are so nice & can give so many different flavors...........

I don't get caught up in the whole "does it sound just like this or that amp (SLO, Marsh, Fender etc....)..............

The main thing is the tone good & dose it move you or sound like a real mic'd amp......It does & it feels Sol good............Lol

The tune is moving along & thx for checking it out.......

Hey UD ,your clips really do sound great .If I could make a request not sure if it is your thing but I would love to hear the SLO lead in more of the 80,s Scorpions ,Whitesnake ,Ratt vein .I am most intrested in the rhythm tones .

If you do get some time and could do some of that Dokkenish arena rock power chord chug and ringing outs chord with hi gain .I would really appreciate it ..

I love the 80's & could give that a try for ya..........It's not my main style of playing, but if it's tone ur looking for I"ll give it a spin.........I know I could pull off a little Steve Stevens (Billy Idol) for ya as well.....Lol

I'm working w/ the "Vintage Rectifier" right now & starting to love that as well....FWIW

Ok, ah....I think I was not the right guy for the job on this one, but you asked for it..............

1st Tone = SLO-100 Crunch Model - 4x12 CL-30's & 57 on-axis
(Volume rolled back on guitar to about 7.5)

2nd Tone: SLO-100 Drive Model - 4x12 CL-30's & Dyn 409 on-axis
(Pre (gain) knob on Soldano amp at 12 o'clock)

3rd Tone: Treadplate Vintage - 4x12 CL-30's & 57 on-axis

Really nice! What reverb was that? Was it the reverb one that comes with 11R?
