duy valve/tape
 

Anyone have any comments about these plug ins. I love magneto but it only works on old farms and is becoming less compatable with every protools up grade.

Dad tape is supposed to be 'da bomb'... ie v good. I want it myself.

Disagree.
All the preciese work i've done by mic placement and eq'ing are flushed down the sink when i insert dad tape in the master. And the dad valve is all digital. I've never seen a digital valve.
Try before you buy. Maybe i'm all wrong.

I use "Tape" over my drum buss and it rocks. It adds that phat your always trying to get with compression but can't seem to find. I would not use it over my stereo buss for a hi-fi mix, but it works great for drum'n bass etc.
I use "Valve" on gt and bass with much success. I recommend them highly.

I, too, like "tape" on a drum buss, and use valve on bass as well- very nice as compared with the squeaky clean DI.
