Yeh I wouldn't take that list too seriously..

If you check their plugin compatibility page, Avid have listed "SoundToys TDM Bundle" as being PT11 compatible

There really is no excuse for ANY plugin manufacturer to not be ready for this if AVID had actually cared about anyone but themselves. Any company with half a clue would have got all the major plugin companies on board so that PT11 could have hit strong - instead pretty much the only people who will be installing PT11 right now are:

A) people who don't use PT in a professional environment
B) plugin manufacturers who are scrambling to make sure their plugins will work on the final PT11 release!

Most people who actually care about having a working system (the majority being 'pro' users) will be waiting a LONG time before they say goodbye to their working TDM/RTAS rigs and move to PT11.

It's going to be a long few months of waiting for this to work itself out…….

Re: AAX plugins download and updates page

Ilovemyssl, as someone who makes a living from 3 x HD rigs, the primary one a HDX system, I have happily co-installed 11 to take advantage of faster than real time bounce on stem mix downs and film deliveries and used it for jobs today. Avids channelstrip, pro limiter and compressor give me solid tools for TV work and I only need to open PT10 for de-noising (which I could probably do in izotope RX standalone if I wanted to). I wont need that once waves have their noise reduction plugs over "very soon", but for a lot of TV work I'm happy to switch now.

Feel free to delay things for yourself if that makes you happy. The co-install route makes it quite simple for the rest of us "pros". ;)

I too do TV/film and the offline bounce is key for me. I'll substitute plugs for now and open in 10 for a noise reduction pass. While I'm waiting for my hardware (still on TDM), I hope to be up and running by the end of next week with 11. I would have loved to have it on Friday when I had to make several minor tweaks on stems for a 120 minute program.
