win 10 april 2018 update / mcpro drop
 

hi,
after updating windows 10 to the latest April 2018 update, MCpro keep dropping out of the net work.
anyone can confirm that is not a local problem?

I haven't heard this. Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling EUCON ?

I found that the issue is having 2 Ethernet connections. PC Win 10, I have one Ethernet connection going to the sys5 router (no internet, only local network) and another Ethernet connection that is going to a local network switch that have internet access.



As soon as I connect the Ethernet connection that open to the local/internet, the MCpro will drop out and I lose the connection between the mcpro and the computer.


Same thing on 2 different computers.


Any suggestions?

Firstly don't connect the second Ethernet whilst the EUCOn software is running, it doesn't like network changes, run EUCOn after.
I suspect its to do with either having 2 default routes or the network priority order. Try a fixed IP address for the EUCON network first.
