Artist mix pan knob not working
 

I noticed my hardly used number 8 pan knob is not working on my artist mix.Is there a way to reset the machine or fix it in anyway.It doesn't seem to control effects or panning.Thanks

I take it you've power cycled it? Possibly by disconnecting the power (I don't trust power-cycling with soft buttons like the Mix has.) I'd also see if you can/need to apply a firmware update from EuControl

what do you mean by power cycled it?I did have a mishap when the power cable got pulled out while it was on.But everything seems to be working except for the #8 pan knob.Do you think I should run the firmware again? Is Eucon 18.3 the correct download for Artist Mix? Thanks

Power cycle means just turn it off and then turn it on again. For the Mix, since it has a soft on/off vs a real switch, it's more

• turn it off from the power button
• unplug the power supply from the back of the Mix
• give it a second
• replug the power supply from the back of the Mix
• turn back on with the power button

Eucontrol 18.3.0.244 is the latest. If you downloaded it a while ago (before the beginning of this week), redownload so you get the 244 version.
I'd run the uninstaller in the package first. Restart you computer. Then run it again with the installer. That's just to remove any old preferences that might be screwing this up for you.

Then once that's setup, see if you can/need to update the firmware for the Mix from the surfaces tab.

gee I downloaded the new Eucon and now it is installed but the Artist Mix is not responding to PT's..

Standard checks: the Mix shows up under the "My Surfaces" section of Eucontrol? Eucon is turned on inside Pro Tools?

I can see the LED's changing on the Artist Mix like it is receiving info but I just won't connect to my song
