Rotary knobs on the dock now work perfect in my quick tests in Logic Pro X.

Thanks!

Hey Eddie, this is pretty awesome. I just tried it out.

Knob Response.
It's 1000x better! there are still times (EQ sweeps) when I wish the knobs were even less sensitive, like when you hold down CTRL. It would be great to extend the knobs so that when you press it in it would give you the same response as when you hold down CTRL. I understand that when you press the knob in it resets to zero so maybe it could be an option in the EuControl software? hmmm, it could also be that I just need time to learn the new response curve....

Multi-Eucon Commands
Well, this is certainly a much welcomed addition! As you know I'm a hardcore softkey guy and there were plenty of times when I'd opt for a keyboard shortcut over a EUCON command just to "save" the eucon command for something only a EUCON command could do!

Well, please thank the team for addressing the knobs! I'm actually getting when I paid for now!

looks like an update video is on the agenda.

I just posted a follow up video going over the updates in v3.6. Sorry it took a few days. I was having some issues with my screen capture software.

Great video, and thanks for the kind words. Here are some comments:
  • It appears that fine mode (holding command whilst turning a knob) only slows down the speed, I'm pretty sure it should also allow access to every step like the Icon could, so I will look at that.
  • To further improve the Soft Key Macros, we will add a delay command
  • The Command Active check box when making Eucon Macros selects which one of the EUCON commands the LED gets it feedback from. All EUCON commands can have feedback so you need to select which one you want to display.

haha however it works it really gives the user much finer precision since the knob has to be turned more (which I imagine was the entire thought process over the accelerated knobs to begin with). I personally don't mind turning the knob more if that means greater precision over value changes but that's obviously a personal preference.

Cool! A delay would certainly be useful!

Thanks for the additional clarification! very interesting!
