I’m using 2 iLoks (one with HEAT, the other with Pro Tools 2019.6) and had to deactivate then reactivate HEAT in iLok License Manager, then synchronize the HEAT iLok.

I’m trying to determine whether these steps are necessary if you have both HEAT and Pro Tools 2019.6 on the same iLok.

So - 2 questions (thanks in advance!):

(1) Do you have both HEAT and Pro Tools 2019.6 on the same iLok?
(2) Did you have to deactivate then reactivate HEAT in iLok License Manager, then synchronize the HEAT iLok – or did HEAT just work in Pro Tools 2019.6, without the steps I mentioned above?

1. Yes.
2. Heat just worked after I installed and activated it. I only have 1 ilok and never had any other installations or licenses of it.

Great to know that Pro Tools 2019.6 users can download the HEAT Trial to their 2019.6 iLok - without having to deactivate then reactivate HEAT in iLok License Manager, then synchronize the HEAT iLok! You've shown that the only reason I had to do this is because I'm using 2 separate iLoks.

Your news should encourage others to start using HEAT straight away.

It looks like it fixed it! I think that my Heat license was actually in the cloud because when I tried to deactivate it I got a message saying that I need to turn off the cloud in order to do so, or something like that. I pressed ok, then reactivated the license and moved it to my ilok and I didn't get the issue since. Thanks!
