Is there a key command for moving up & down the piano keyboard when in notes view ? The tiny up down arrows ain't floating my boat or buttering my parsnips :-)

I don't know and I agree with you. If someone knows, he's welcome ;)

Do not know any Key Command for that neither, but you can use the scroll wheel of a mouse (or two-finger scrolling on a trackpad) for vertical move (and shift+scroll-wheel for horizontal move and alt+scroll-wheel for horizontal zoom), like in the Edit Window.

demo… "vertical move"…? Do you mean that will scroll the midi edit window up & down the piano keyboard on the left ?

If you're talking about the (big) MIDI Editor window (ctrl+= or double-clic on a MIDI Clip with the appropriate MIDI prefs settings) : YES, when you make a vertical scrolling (= vertical move), the piano key is following (it always follows the Notes anyway, whatever scrolling or vertical zooming...).

Yes, hold down ctrl+alt+cmd and moving the mouse wheel

No problem, I always use this command and shift+alt+cmd+ wheel for note zoom in notes view.
