Fade tool doesn't appear
 

I'm missing something in the documentation because I can't access the Fade tool. When I have Smart Tool activated, the triangle-thing that is supposed to indicate Fade does not appear when I hover over audio file. I can do fades via Command/F but not by Fade tool. Where is the Fade tool? Is there something more than activating Smart tool that needs to be done?

Zoom in, make the track(s) larger.

That was it. What an oddity, I wasn't even that zoomed out before. Thanks for your help!
