LOGIC Artist mix...Disconnect, with heavy session
 

Im running latest Logic and latest software for Artist mix( I have 2 via ethernet).
I have a maxed out Mac Pro 3.1 ( 8 core).. 32 gig of ram... When I get into heavy sessions ( Especially with FOLDERS) running 100Tracks,etc.....When I switch between channels or go inside FOLDERS... the artist mix disconnects...( I.e Still on just blank _____. on each channel )... the re is nothing I can do to get it to re connect.. I just have to reload logic...

If I could get it to re connect , that would be a start...but cant figure out where the bottle neck is >?????? Any help ???
I love the Artist mix...but they just dont like FOLDERS in logic... !!!!

I dont think the Artist Mixes are disconnecting if its just Logic you are restarting to fix. Can you post the session or send it to me in a message and I can try it on my rig on Monday. (not in the office at the moment)

Hi...Its usually on a BIG project... The Channels go blank on the artist mix... and nothing moves... If I close the song dn open a empty template ...it then works...? The session is large...The Logic file is about 250meg..(no audio)..Is that what you want to see.... The other thing that seems to trigger is is opening and closing FOLDERS in Logic, especially when the song is playing....? Bizzare...Thanks ROB
