Studio Chairs-Suggestions
Hi All,
I've been thru many chairs at my workstation over the years. Tried all the standard high end office ones, a couple from Relax The Back. Now I'm looking again. Can anyone recommend a great chair with good lower back support? Thanks Mel |
Re: Studio Chairs-Suggestions
Have you tried a Herman Miller Aeron? I've had one for 8+ years and it still feels great. I like that I can move the lumbar pad up and down depending on my lower back aches.
More importantly I found that the height of my monitors (3) and the height of my desk/trackball/keyboard relationship is almost as important for wrist and neck comfort. I remember experimenting an entire year to find the correct positions. Wilson Dyer mpse |

Agreed on the Herman Miller chairs but the price is tough to swallow. I have been happy with this chair from Staples:
http://www.staples.com/office/suppli...C2:CG32:DP2156 my only complaint is that the arms are maybe a bit high(even at the lowest position). It improved a bit by swapping them(left for right) which makes them angle back instead of forward, or you could opt to just leave them off. |
