HELP ! Big problem since i update 9.0.6
 

Hi guys,
I'm totally in panic
I did a update from 9.0.5 to 9.0.6.
Since this update, i have 2 problems :
1 - If i load PT without my Ilok, there's no message. (You know the nice Window inviting you tu authorize the product ! Ok that's not a big deal, but...)
2 - Sessions launched, If i open a plugin EQ3 or Dynamics 3 Pro tools chrashes without any message.


What's wrong ?
Please help me i'm f.... lost.
(And I feel bad with the 36$ telephon deal with avid society)

I would uninstall and go back to 9.0.3, which was the best version for me:o If that does not help, come back with a lot more information. Look in the upper section of this(and every) DUC page for a link named Help Us Help You

Yeah weird for sure, if downgrading to 9.03 doesn't work you will have to try again and post all relevant info....

Man I remember 9.03 and 9.06 being rock solid.

I've installed PT 9.0.2 (Full install)
same problems exactly appears.
I really think I have to do a clean install of my OS. Maybe some corrupted files in my system.
I've made an install on my wife computer (9.0.5) same OS, and protools works pretty good, so...

That's my config :

(But i tried to lanch Pro Tools with the protools agregate in a first time, and it's not working)

10.6.8 and PT9 is definitely an approved setup.

Yes I would take the time to reinstall a fresh copy of Snow Leopard and then update to 10.6.8

I tried to make an install with the universal snow leopard DVD, and it doesn't work.
My mac do not boot on this holly disk.
Any idea ?
ps i don't have the original gray. Lost.

Why doesn't your Mac boot from the DVD drive?

Is it broke?

You can buy new Snow Leopard disks on eBay amazon

I ran with Mac OS 10.6.8 and Pro Tools 9.0.6 for years with no problems, on my Mac Pro 4,1.

Have you deleted the preferences?
