Beige G3 + Ramsa DA7 + Digi 001

I am considering changing my AM3 Card for a digi 001. At the moment I only know what I have read about it,So can anyone advise if this plan will work ok.
digi pci card to oo1 interface,then adat optical out to a adat card installed inside the ramsa console.
