Bounce to Quicktime
 

PT Ultimate HDX, 2020.5.0, OS X 10.12.6

Would appreciate any advice:

I have a 3 minute music video on main video track (H264), 23.976, (48k, 24bit) and small set of tracks comprising the mix. Delay comp looks kosher. Sounds and looks great.

I am trying to Bounce to Quicktime for client; Same As Source.

1. Resulting file is not in sync. I've tried no plugins on Master Bus and that didn't change anything. It's about a frame off, every time. Has anyone seen or solved this problem?

2. The color of video in the bounce is "broken". Like it has the wrong color profile or something... looks bad compared to the pristine original.

This may not be the issue, but its worth checking. Have you measured the latency of the screen you are using to watch the video while you edit/mix? If the screen is adding latency, you may be editing sounds to where they look in time with the picture, but are in fact off. I use the Catchin' Sync app to measure the video screen latency and determine the correct value to enter into the Pro Tools Video Sync Offset field.
