Pro Tools HD Upgrade Question
 

Hello. I am running pro tools hd 11.2 on a mac pro 2012 12 core. I need to upgrade the OS for other software, however, I'm uncertain if the version of pro tools I have will open or run successfully on Mac OS 10.11 El Capitan? I see that the compatibility page says pro tools hd 11.2 runs on 10.8.5-10.9.3, but I don't know if that means 10.9.3 or later? Does this mean later in 10.9 or later in full os upgrade? Can anyone clarify this for me? Thanks!

I doubt PT11 is going to be great on any OSX after 10.9 as Avid states. Doesn’t mean that it runs on any OSX over 10 9 but upto that OSX.

It means exactly what it says. 10.8.5-10.9.2. Not anything later. Usually later versions of the same major macOS are also ok but it went untested by Avid.

It definitely does not mean 10.10, etc are ok.
