Anyone experiencing this issue?
 

The darndest thing is happening.
I'll be laboring along full guns mixing/editing a session, then all of a sudden I can't copy/paste, etc.
I have to close/reopen the session in order to resume work.
Any suggestions?

Is it the edit window command focus getting funky? I couldn't get my rig to go to edit command focus without restarting PT today.

Jep. And no text interface anymore as well. Can not rename anything before restarting the session.

Do any of your one key, keyboard shortcuts work when it happens? Is it possibly the Waves plug-in issue? Did you have a Waves plug-in window open at the time?

I have been getting the problem of not being able to type lately also.

Yep have this too... Sometimes. And not always everywhere. (giving a name when you want to save a file works, but typing a title in the mp3 export does not work)
Cant find a clue of what is causing this, sometimes it does not happen for days and then it is there again, same session.
I blamed my artist remote and suspected the wacom cintiq drivers...

When I loose the edit window keyboard focus, switching to the Finder and clicking anywhere on the desktop before switching back to PT is enough to "wake them back"...

Yep same here..
I´ve been getting this text problem for a while.. Not able to rename ..
Restarting my session hasnt been enough.. I have to restar PT
