Mono source track made into a stereo Commit track [SOLVED]
...does it insist on making every MONO source track into a stereo COMMIT track? Feature request: commit mono tracks to mono versions.....rant over, you may go about your business:o

Re: Love Commit, but why oh why....
this doesn't happen to me. I am able to Commit a mono track and only have one .cm track in the Audio Files folder which I then pull into Media Composer.
You can see that here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2S5J4Jddb4 maybe it has something to do with the way your session is set up? |

Nice thank you- same issues |
Re: Love Commit, but why oh why....
Could it be made intelligent enough to print onto a mono track if no panning automation, and stereo if there is? Or is there a downside to this I haven't foreseen?

Re: Love Commit, but why oh why....
Aha, but still Hmmm. I thought deselecting PAN was related to PAN automation. I will give that a test.

Re: Love Commit, but why oh why.... [SOLVED]
Okay, that problem is solved:D. Now, why will it NOT maintain my pre-fade AUX sends that feed my headphone mixes? It "claims" that the pre-fade sends have automation, but they don't. Things that make you go "Hmmmm":o

Re: Mono source track made into a stereo Commit track [SOLVED]
I tend to find "commit up to this insert" to be more useful than "commit track" - which tends to bypass the whole pan/automation issue - would that be something that you could incorporate into your workflow?
