How to Activate PTS9?
 
I am not sure about the activation of PTS 9?

1. iLok ID:

Your hardware interface
3.
Serial Number of qualifying hardware:

I am stuck on the 3rd, Which serial come here?
a. Previous version of LE I have?
b. The new PTS9 serial?

I typed in both and the site explain it does not exist.

The provided serial number was not accepted. Please check your serial number and try again.

If you bought the update you need to put in the serial number of your Mbox, Eleven Rack or 002/003.

I have even attempted using my Digi002 serial number, the site simply explain it "User does not exist", All my history is logged on my Avid account with all my PTS versions.

My Digi002 serial is not excepted by the site, why is this?
Should I email Avid with a pic of my Digi002 serial?........how would I resolve the issue ?

Hardware is the key word here.

It's asking for the serial number on the back of your LE interface (Mbox, 003, etc).

I have used this serial of my Digi002, site do not want to except it

It look like one sitting with the same crap with Avid as which we use to with Digi.

I can't get my new PTS 9 Upgrade working because the site do not want to except my Digi002 serial. All my PTS versions is list via my Avid account, I have even uploaded a pic showing my Digi002 serial, to support, support is just simply useless. Just like the old Digi support..........NO support!!!!!!!!

This is what Avid give as support:

Come on you guys, I have checked my serial code, that is the first thing I did........You not working with stupid people here......surly you could come up with better support then this.?

Online support is useless explain refer to local dealer.

Come on guys (Avid) how long must I wait for you to assist me?????

My registration on version PTS 7 LE is
Registered online which is linked to my Digi002 hardware so PLEASE tell what is the issue????????

Why do your site not want to except my Digi002 serial??????

Why not try phone support? You may have to use a credit card but the charge should be refunded considering your situation.

It's not uncommon for Avid support to respond here but not always guaranteed.

I am from South Africa, However I have noted how many in the USA it self have issues with support, and this just via telephonic support, as recent as a few weeks ago, What did Avid say about the bad support, well we can't believe this has happen, the guy even quoted the support person's name, well documented in the DUC. I will just cause myself to get to a place which I do not want to be. So best I do it here HOPE I do get support ONE DAY!!!!
Hopefully run my new PTS9 update before PTS 10 is released.:mad:

Avid your online support is well just the way we all have come to know the old Digi attitude and we come to know so well over the years.

What is the point of having support if you do not give support.

I can't even run my new PTS9, for some stupid reason your systems is like your service.

Keep in mind that today is Thanksgiving day, the second biggest national holiday in the USA. So Avid is closed, most likely tomorrow as well. So you may not be able to get a response until Monday.
