Trouble Installing Izotope Vinyl to Pro Tools 11
 

Hello,

Ive been trying to install Izotope Vinyl for the last week. I receive the following error message on PT startup:

"Unauthorized Plug In. The following plug-ins failed to load because no
valid authorization could be found or the iLok key was not connected;
iZVinylAAXHook.aaplugin"

I reached out to Izotope and they suggested reinstalling, and updating my C++ Windows files. This has not helped and they have stopped replying.

FYI I have successfully installed Izotope Ozone 7 a month prior.

Is your iLok plugged into a working/powered up USB port? Windows by default has the uSB ports go into power saving mode both on laptops and desktops. Go to Windows Control Panel and turn off any power saving modes on all the USB ports.

Did you put the license for Vinyl on the iLok?

Did you follow the instructions form iZotope about authorization when you purchased their software?

You can contact iZotope support again if you are stuck and make clear to them the iLok license key download bit is where you are lost

When I load pro tools i never get the option to authorize the plugin.

For iLok, it doesnt even show up on the Manager app...

As I mentioned on my previous posts, Izotoope has stopped replying to my emails. Please, I'd appreciate some help

Ooop scratch all that, I am very sorry I just realized this was for the free Vinyl plugin (I'd assumed it was RX) which is not iLok based at all is it. So it never asks you for a number?

No worries. I never get a chance to enter my serial number provided by Izotope.

I install the plugin, then launch PT11 and get the following:

"Unauthorized Plug In. The following plug-ins failed to load because no
valid authorization could be found or the iLok key was not connected;
iZVinylAAXHook.aaplugin"

Once Pro Tools is fully initialized, Vinyl is no where to be found and I cannot register. Ive tried reinstalling numerous times.

Is there ANYONE that has successfully installed Izotope Vinyl on their Windows-based Pro Tools 11?
