Need digi 001 rack ears
 

I have been searching all over the internet for these and cant find them. Avids website and support couldnt help either. I just know someone has some laying around somewhere. They are crying for someone to take them away from their once loving and interested owner who is now occupied with that NEW interface that doesnt require special rack ears :D !! Can anyone help?

pretty sure that they are standard rack ears with holes drilled in standard places. Therefore, any 19' rack ears will do the job.

Actually, no

the 001 is only about 14" wide so the ears are extra long

My suggestions are to find a 1U rack shelf.

Or, make a set or find a friend who can make a set. Extremely easy job if you have the right tools..

A local sheet metal shop could make them but it might cost quite a bit for a "custom" job (basically whatever their hourly rate is x 1 hour min)

i was looking for them as well and ended up getting a whole new 001 set for only 1000 yen(about 12 bucks) on yahoo auctions. perhaps you can find them on ebay? sometimes only the breakout box with rack ears gets listed. do a search with the keyword "MX001".
