I did not to anything special to make it work. Other than when I installed my PCIe SSD I did a clean complete new install of Sierra and then installed PT 12. 2 or 3 ( or what ever version of 12 that was qualified for Sierra) ...... When I switched to HS I did it over Sierra and then installed PTHD 2018.1 BUT in both cases .......I installed the HD drivers before installing PTHD

So my PTHD Native card is in the 2nd from the bottom slot (Factory graphics card in the bottom slot) Then the Pcie SSD in the 3 rd from bottom.

I went from 10.10 to 10.13 on two machines recently and no issues.

I'm running High Sierra and Pro Tools 2018.3 on a 2010 8 core Mac Pro with an SSD boot drive on a PCI card. Pro Tools HDX and UAD Octo Pci cards.

No issues at all. Previously had PT 2018.1 on Sierra. That was stable as well.

Oh I forgot to mention I also always trash my old PT preferences close PT and shut down my Mac . Then boot up the mac install new drivers and then new PT version

The High Sierra / PT 2018.3 combo is stable here (6-core trash can with SSD boot and audio drives).
