Menu bar greyed out after I close a session
 

Hi guys,
I have a problem with 2019.05 as I had with 2018.12: after I close a session, all the entries in the menu bar are greyed out, so I can't open a new session or a recent session in the FILE menu. I have to go to the finder to open a session. This is quite inconvenient. Does anybody know a solution for this problem?

I don’t have a solution but I’ve also been experiencing this issue.

Same here. Are u all in Hackintosh?

I've seen it on the odd occassion. Go to the Dock and right click on the PT icon and see if it says 'application not responding'. That means something locked up PT and you have to force quit PT and restart it.

I also get this from time to time. I'm on a Mac Pro 2010, so not hackintosh

I think i found out what may be causing it. I run sonarworks systemwide. When i close that i don’t seem to have the problem.
Anyone else using that? Or some other application that is running in the background?
I am on a 2017 imac.

I do use systemwide as well. I’ll see if i can test your theory.
