Absynth 4 with PT8?
 

Hey guys,

I have heard that Absynth 4, when openend in Pro Tools 8 as a plugin, crashes and make PT crashes as well. True? Cause I'm interested of getting Absynth 4, but affraid to do so because of this. Anyone here using it with PT8 without problems or crashes?

Feel free to join the Absynth Users Group- I'm the moderator- we can answer any Absynth questions you have- I use Absynth in Logic mostly, but I'm sure there's some ProTools users there : )

It works fine (unlike some NI stuff)

From their site...

The following NI products are already fully compatible with Pro Tools
7.4 and Pro Tools 8 under Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard in their latest version:

Wicked! Thanks for the infos guys. I had the idea to try the demo version and see if it works welll. If it does (probably, from gruddlebug's reply) I will get the full version.
