Pro Tools 10.2 crashes again, and again...
 

OK, does anyone has the same problem, with 10.0 installed everything worked well, or maybe is better to say it is the same as Pro Tools 8, not so bad overall.
But with 10.2 , EVEN WITHOUT ANY VI's, just 20 audio tracks with maybe 15 plugins Pro Tools keep crashing on and on. :mad:
It is happening with no obvious reason, select some clip, then press space (play), and it freezes there for few seconds, and then boom, crash! :confused:

Mac or Windows? what is your OS?

Maybe you need to uninstall PT10.2, then to clean up the OS etc. ... And reinstall PT10.2 (usually that's enough). If the problem persists reinstall the OS first. You must be sure that the system is really clean. PT10 normally detects plug-ins that are not updated. Courage!

Have you tried any troubleshooting at all? Prefs and DBs? Emptying the plugins folder? Updating plugins?

Mac OS X 10.7.4, Pro Tools 10.2 native, system is clean, fresh, maybe one month old, permissions cleaned, all drives without errors, plugins up to date, tried to delete prefs and databases, installed and uninstalled three times, still the same. :confused:
About troubleshooting, I am suffering with Pro Tools for more than 10 years, I am familiar with all I need to check and do, but still have those crashes. :-)
Everything worked well on the same system for about one month, I installed fresh system and Pro Tools 10, worked well for one month, then suddenly got again those Pro Tools issues... :o

I can't quite make out the dump screen, but it looks like crash thread 24. Could you scroll down and tells us what is thread 24? (or is it my old eyes)

If it's a plug-in...

Can you a) see if there's been an update b) simply reinstall the plug-in c) see if you can live with out and if the system still crashes.
