Pro Tools Dock deconnecting while using other App than PT

Does anyone know if its possible to stop The Dock & PT Control App from de-connecting, while i switch (for example) to firefox while working on a session?
If i compare it with Ableton Controllers APC-40 or Push2 it is quite useful that the controllers are kept connected to the Daw all the time..

Put Pro Tools on top, then go to EuControl Settings... Assign... Lock to Application.
