consensus on 10?
I'm still on 9, and pretty doing more on Logic nowadays and I'm just like some feedback on how's it coming along with 10?;)

Awesome!

Re: consensus on 10?
I'm loving 10. The clip gain feature alone made the update from 9 worth it for me. But the randomly disappearing audio outputs bug is a show stopper. Once that's sorted, it'll be a no-brainer.

Re: consensus on 10?
i haven't run into any disappearing audio running 10 native. I think it's only TDM although I certainly could be mistaken.
The best feature of ten for me has been the ability to easily import and export Logic and Samplitude projects. It also uses less DSP than 9 did. |

Re: consensus on 10?
PT10 standalone works fine for me. Seems about the same as PT9. Paid the money to help keep Avid in business...

Re: consensus on 10?
PT10? Loving it! OK it has some quirks but nothing you cannot solve and it is running very stable and has some nice new features (clip gain disk cache).

Re: consensus on 10?
10 is still buggy. I still can't playback at 1024 buffer setting even when I tried the CoreAudio switch. I can't run as many instances of Eleven or Waves GTR when tracking at a 32 buffer setting. After consolidating 22 tracks of edited audio, it takes forever for ProTools to process the rendering before I can actually delete the "un-used regions/ clips". Don't even get me started on Elastic Audio.
10 is cool, it's a Beta and needs a fix really effing bad. |
