Crowds SFX Libraries

Hi everyone,

I need your help and advice.

I'm looking for Crowds Libraries. Film I'm currently working is periodic drama, about times without cars and mobile phones. To be more specific, 1820's. I need villages, small towns, cities. We are going to record singles and small groups but I need general material to build upon.

Any info will be much appreciated.

Thanks

just add some distant chicken noises....

sorry jokes aside. thats a tricky one - we had to do lots of adr for a movie like that.

I did try rolling off top end and filtering some small crowds we already had to give body and add a top layer of the required language.

Also had to make use of more natural winds - leaves- layers of footsteps etc-

we had some good wild tracks of ambiences and sync FX luckily for some scenes

I find "market" is a good keyword to start with. Gives you hubbub without much traffic.
Also, some sparse horse carriages will sit nicely.
