App v19.12.13 and lacks of some functionalities
 

Hi,
Well... New version has many improvements, but .. there are some important funcionalities that are gone :confused:
1. green light for tracks in Preview mode (advanced automation) - gone from all scenes of an App
2. Automation state in a Track view - very important thing when mixing in a Preview mode to see witch tracks were touched, but not only for that purpose... Lack of it is very painful now ... Much more wanted than new tracks icons...
3. Now touching and moving Dock fader I don't see volume values in the left down corner on the App - only a number of track, name of a track and ... useless icon...
Is it normal behaviour ? Maybe it's a question of compatibility of system, or ... something skip in Preferences/Settings ???

Hi,
I miss those functions too...

Especially and most important is displaying the volume when touching/moving Dock fader. How should I now where I am volume wise? It is not displaying volume in Channel View and it is a show stopper needing to switch to the mixer. I did not find any option that would include volume...

Do you mean there's no green on the Dock screen at all for the tracks that are in Preview? (I've been hanging back with EuCon 19.9, haven't made the jump yet)

I mean on iPad screen - no green light for the tracks that are touched/automated in Preview. In previous versions it was visible in all scenes in the App on the track's squares and it was so helpful... This has desapeaired even from the mixer now.
And Track View... - the automation mode cannot be seen at all...
So... don't make a jump yet - it's not worth for now...

For now, just use the attention fader display on any tab. (press top left of soft buttons at top of dock.) It shows the dock fader info. Don't have to switch over to mixer -- it floats on any tab

Good! I often go to tracks view and quickly scroll around looking for green to make sure the next Punch Preview isn't punching tracks I don't want.

I will hang back a while longer...
