How do I get Pro Tools 12.6 when I have a license for 12.5.1
 

I would like to know what I need to do, exactly rather than probably, in order to get Pro Tools 12.6 when I have a license for 12.5.1. I thought I had upgrades ahead of me, but I don't see the licenses. I believe someone needs to deposit the license for me, but I can't 100% recall.

If you do not see the 12.6 installer on your Avid Account, you need to go to iLok License Manager to check what is the RELEASE LIMIT date on your license. You cannot auth newer versions than that.

For example my license bundle says "Versions released on or before 23.03.2021" on the Release Limit field.

If you think your license is good for 12.6 then just to to Avid Download Center and download it from there.

If you need newer license, you need to find a reseller that can sell you reinstatement of your lapsed support and update plan. Avid stopped selling those last year.
