I can't load 10.3.10 ever since latest windows 10 pro automatic update! Windows couldn't do a system restore! Getting notice, "Could not complete your request because Access violation occurred, unable to read location: 0x01823008," What do I need to do? Please help.

Hi !

First try removing all the plugins from the plugins folder delete databases and pref , then load PT again .
If PT lauch normal then you have a plugin causing troubles . Haunt it down by adding one by one ( or do it by brands ) to the plugins folder and opening protools to test .

If removing the Plugins doesnt work , update the ilok license manager and test . When updating please unistall the older version first then install the lastest after reboot .

Hope this helps !

You have W10 Pro and didn't delay updates? You have a computer and don't have a backup plan? A little late for this issue, but not for the future. Please search for Macrium Reflect - there's a free version - and use to make images before you do any update/upgrade/install/uninstall. You'll be 15 to 20 minutes away from reversing out of any grief. I also image my OS drive and my Audio drive nightly, keeping the three most current images. Having searchable images that can restore a computer to a previous state is a time traveling get out of jail free card. BTW, I never, ever use System Restore, it's turned off and checked after every OS update.

And, as an addition, I don't think PT10 on W10 is recommended or supported by Avid.
