Smack! and Eleven Plugin offer
 

Hello,

I recently upgraded to PTHD 12.3. I just received this email indicating "Eleven & Smack!" were included (as well as other plugins) with this upgrade.

Any word on Smack!?

See attached email from today and Avid website mentions it as well.

Avid are giving away the Smack! plugin with new purchases of PT12. Think existing users will get it as well?

no. why? As you read, it´s for "NEW purchases of PT12".

Because existing users have payed the same (if not more) for PT12 and should get the same treatment?

Avid give it away with about every other upgrade. I think I have at least two Smack licenses already.

The sales and specials for this Black friday / Cyber monday type stuff are just for purchases at these limited times so i don't expect any smack being spread around.

It is a very cool compressor though... Im sure theres plenty available for cheap used. and Im pretty sure I even have an extra or two as was mentioned by someone else earlier.

Does anyone even use Smack? Maybe I have an inappropriate bias against Avid plugs, but getting free plugins that came out 10 years ago isn't much of a perk.
